Reporting to the MD and working closely with the Marketing Executive, the primary focus of this exciting and rewarding role is undertake B2B Telesales and Marketing.

The Sales and Marketing intern will focus on generating new business leads, undertaking market research, representing the company through calls, emails and at industry event.


* Conduct a minimum number of calls per week to clients with potential business for the company
* Collate information on prospective clients, even where an appointment is not obtained
* Establish new relationships by researching, adding and developing new clients
* Log all calls and monitor success rates
* Work with field sales to support them in achieving Dalroad sales objectives
* Send out company information to potential accounts when necessary
* Conduct market research and telesales campaigns as required.
* Complete monthly reports and provide critical analysis to highlight current business levels and all new business received
* Maintain & update the company CRM software
* Confidently engage and effectively converse with key decision-makers and technical staff at target organisations
* Manage generated customer enquiries/customer questions and direct to the relevant technical support team
* Provide admin support to the Marketing department by conducting research and initial communication with potential new accounts/markets as directed in line with the company sales and marketing plan
* Attend occasional exhibitions and events as required
* Complete any training necessary to complete daily duties
* Ensure you are up to date with all product knowledge at all times
* Any ad-hoc duties requested by line manager

37 hours per week

8.30 - 5.00pm Mon-Thursday, Friday 4.30pm

25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

Salary: 18000 per annum
