Our client is a London based Real Estate Private Equity Firm with over £500 million of real estate assets throughout the UK. The firm is hiring an experienced Property Manager to join the team and oversee a portfolio of apartment communities in Ipswich, UK. This is a unique opportunity with substantial growth opportunities to manage other properties in the area.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years' experience as a Manager of 100+ properties, in the greater UK market. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with superb computer skills. Experience with property management software, budgeting and reporting is required. Additionally, candidates must be organized and possess a customer service mentality.

Job Description

The Property Manager manages the day-to-day operations of a 120+ unit block property including managing the team members, daily activities, and resources of the property to achieve established budgeted financial and operational goals.



Job Requirements:

To supervise all phases of on-site operations:

* Handle all marketing, leasing, tenant relations, maintenance and emergency situations.
* Develop and implement new strategies and programs designed to ensure long-term residency.
* Oversee collection of revenues and handle delinquent accounts.
* Makes regular inspections of apartment communities.
* Handle evictions.
* For all on-site personnel, is responsible for training and job
* Hires and terminates hourly personnel.
* Determines transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
* Adheres to and implements all company policies.
* Audits lease files.
* Implements scheduled rent increases and familiar with market rents.
* Oversees payment of invoices to vendors.
* Assists in budget preparation.
* Monitors parking lot for unauthorized vehicles.
* Motivates staff and cultivates a team mentality.
* Informs residents of work progress or delays.
* Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

* A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.
* 3+ years' experience as a manager of 100+ residential properties.
* Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, sell and explain apartment features, and answer questions about the property's operation.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and leasing documents.
* Demonstrated management and supervisory skills sufficient to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage team members, including maintenance specialists.
Salary: 35000 per annum
