Job description:
To work with Senior Directors in underpinning the Reform & Renewal programme with quality project management expertise and documentation. This includes working supportively with staff and company stakeholders in developing appropriate documentation, communication and reporting to enable the effectively tracking and reporting of the programme. The post holder will need to collate significant amount of workstream data to create integrated programme plans.



MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



This role would be responsible for

* Work with departments to support and guide them through the steps to turn current work stream plans into an integrated programme of work with clearly documented dependencies.
* Track programme plan in totality whilst also enabling reporting against the workstreams plans to enable Synod and Governance reporting.
* Develop key programme documents such risk register, dependencies, stakeholder analysis, timelines, programme costs etc. Methodologies will need to flexible to be appropriate to context and stakeholders.
* Clarify, document and agree programme governance. Educate stakeholders on effective governance of programmes
* Create and manage communications plans and documents where necessary to ensure an integrated approach to communication. Support work stream leads in effective quality communications, track and co-ordinate communications to ensure effectiveness and timeliness.
* To set up programme meetings as appropriate and visits to ensure that this is done by the workstreams in an effective integrated manner; including liaison with Directors, Management and with staff.

* To establish a suitable framework to enable integrated, consistent effective consultation and feedback from all stakeholders: Determine existing and new tools to engage stakeholders, to be used including meetings, forums and working groups, questionnaires/surveys and 1-2-1s.

* Maintain collaborative communication with all peers and stakeholders to evaluate effectiveness of project, process improvement and impact of plans.
* Sharing best practice and learning with leadership teams to build programme expertise in the organisation
* Pro-actively identify, escalate and resolve issues and potential obstacles in order to ensure the successful delivery or implement effective improvement. Understand and track dependencies of workstreams. Ensuring appropriate escalation and communication (upwards and downwards) of issues.

Skills/Aptitudes:

* Ability to communicate effectively - speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques and produce high quality written reports

* Enjoys working in partnership with others and developing ideas with them and is able to build trust.
* Confidence to build rapport with senior people and to challenge them in a supportive, yet stimulating way.
* A relationship builder with a flexible approach to working with others and to sharing resources, information and learnings.

Knowledge/Experience:

* At least 2 years project management experience in a complex stakeholder environment.
* Experience of designing appropriate programme documentation and reporting to it programme requirements.
* Must have proven ability to plan and control, while managing changing priorities
