Office Customer service professional required:

We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Coordinator on behalf of one of our Colchester based clients. The successful applicant will be office based and be supporting an existing sales and administration team. Working closely as a team to add support, not only in sales, but also with administrative duties. If you have worked in a transport office, waste recycling environment or warehouse logistics company this role would suit you perfectly.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer phone calls answering and dealing with clients requirements
* Assists the sales team, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation.
* Prepare and then follow up on any sales quotations made for customers.
* Efficiently respond to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.
* Liaise between other departments and the customers to provide the service most suitable to the customer's needs, considering cost and time restraints.
* Ability to work closely with the sales team to assess the progress of the department and develop sales plans accordingly.
* Process and complete orders from inputting data through to delivery.
* Act as a point of contact for all customer queries that may arise.
* Create, maintain and update internal databases.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Transport Office / Industrial Warehouse office based experience would be highly advantageous
* Fluent in English to a very high standard and possess first class communication skills (written & verbal).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and any other software related to Sales admin i.e. Customer Relations Management - (CRM desirable)
* Ability to manage a busy workload.
* Highly organised, capable of multitasking and strong time management skills.
* Proven sales account management skills.
* Understanding of sales, marketing and business development methods within a mobile capital goods sales context.
* Self-motivated, dedicated and professional approach with strong customer service bias.

Qualifications required:

* Experience of working within transport or waste recycling environment would be highly advantageous.
This role would suit an individual who has worked in a cut and thrust fast paced environment, working to a deadline and being able to work under pressure.

Salary offered: £18,000 to £23,000 per annum
Salary: 23000 per annum
