Job description:
My client, a leading firm of Accountants with offices throughout Essex and Suffolk are looking for an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join their team in the Colchester Office.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake Audit and Accounts assignments, assisting with Audits of limited companies, charities, education clients and other "not for profit" sector clients, carrying out work under Solicitors' Accounts Rules, regulations and RICS work. You will be assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts, preparation of financial accounts for audit exempt companies, occasionally from incomplete records, assisting in tax compliance work.

As a manager, you will ensure that senior managers are kept informed of workloads, managing your own workload to complete tasks within the allocated time frame, training and supervising staff within the department, which will include providing technical support where needed.

This role will involve contacted clients and other audit contacts under the direction of a manager.

Other duties will involve general office administration including filing, photocopying and data entry.
Salary: 38000 per annum
Benefits: Negotiable dependant on experience
