Reports to: Gas Servicing Manager
Level: 5
No CRB required.

Role Purpose:
Supports and administers the gas servicing schedule for all GHA directly managed properties

To ensure that gas appliances, installations and heating systems in GHA general needs, care and support housing and temporary housing stock are efficiently and effectively maintained and serviced in accordance with prevailing statutory requirements. Ensures that all Agency managed stock are compliant with the servicing schedule.

Ensures that all Audit requirements and internal procedures and processes are always followed in a timely and accurate manner and that documentary evidence is kept and immediately available.

Role Scope and Key Tasks:
* Under the direction of the Gas Servicing Manager and in line with GHA policy and procedures operates the gas servicing schedule for all GHA directly managed properties to ensure that all gas supplied properties are serviced in a timely manner and that all properties are checked weekly for changes to heating type, occupancy status, tenure type to ensure the gas servicing database is always 100% accurate against North-gate
* Operates the no access process ensuring prompt action on cases and intervening where this is not so
* North-gate records are maintained as the prime database and reconciled in accordance with audit requirements
* Contributes to a twice yearly self-audit of all records to ensure the records of where there is a gas supply or capped supply are 100% accurate
* Liaison with Neighbourhoods and Care & Support on specific properties and on service generally and communicate with other parts of Property Services and GHA on gas servicing
* Puts forward ideas towards the Team Plan and own personal objectives
* Completes cross role training with other team members so that each can carry out the others role competently when needed
* Actively contributes to a continuous improvement approach

● Maintain a flexible and responsive workforce and culture that allows for change and service improvement to be managed organically and incrementally
● Ensure all properties are serviced in a timely manner and that all properties are checked weekly for heating type, occupancy status, tenure type to ensure the gas servicing database is always 100% accurate against Northgate
● Supervises and confirms compliance of agency managed stock in relation to gas servicing ensuring that GHA has full assurance on safety

● Assist the Association to meet all statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations
● Ensure service delivery is consistent with the relevant Genesis strategies
● Support organisational arrangements to ensure strong and effective relationships are developed and maintained between GHA staff, third party partners and external stakeholders
● Demonstrate genuine equality and diversity in all aspects of service delivery.
● Responsible for monitoring no access procedures followed and actively manages cases

● Using and maintaining an effective and clear set of systems and processes to enable the monitoring and evaluation of performance across relevant area
● To ensure that key data is recorded, stored and maintained to agreed standard and is of good quality, in order to meets the demands of the department or function and the wider business.
● Follow the current procedures and processes for all activities that the team covers. Propose changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
● Maintain a good working knowledge of all relevant IT systems
● Northgate records are maintained as the prime database and reconciled in accordance with audit requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
● Good team working skills used for building and maintaining effective and productive partnerships both internally and externally.
● Experience of effectively resolving and responding to customer complaints.
● Experience of working in an environment of delivering a customer focused service to residents
● Working knowledge of the Gas Safety Regulations
● Experience of maintaining property databases and computerised ordering systems.

● Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of the post.
● To work outside of core hours as required
Salary: 15.62 per hour
