Role Profile

Role Title: HR Assistant
Reporting To: Data Manager
Grade £25,000
Role Purpose: To deliver a consistent, reliable, customer focused service that ensures value for money. Must deliver a responsive service to all customers of Genesis and to act as a positive role model for junior level staffs, which delivers responsive service to all customers at Genesis whilst maintaining confidentiality.
* To deliver a broad spectrum of general HR duties, including but not limited to payroll administration, managing the new starter and leaver processes and employee benefits.
* To be responsible for directorate recruitment, learning and development with database maintenance and place heavy focus on providing excellent customer service.

* To be aware of customers and their needs and to ensure that focus is maintained on service delivery
* Be aware of the department strategy taking into account the internal and external operating environments
* Travel to regional offices across the South East and East Anglia.
Technical and Professional Skills * Deliver a high quality, customer focused and responsive service to customers
* To have an understanding of associations statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations
* Experience in a fast paced administrative environment
* Ability to demonstrate appropriate technical and professional skills
Efficient use of Resources * To have responsibility and accountability for any materials or tools to enable the role to be carried out appropriately
* To be aware of the financial cost of resources and the implications of damage and/or loss

* Work collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge and information and providing assistance where appropriate

Systems & Process * Maintain a good working knowledge of all relevant IT systems

Governance, Compliance and Health and Safety * To comply with the Associations policies and procedures in relation to the service area
* Ensure that all Health & Safety training is undertaken and that knowledge is kept up to date
* Maintain up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation, procedures and best practice for the service area
Salary: 17.11 per hour
