Job description:
Our client is a national leader in the provision of fuel services to businesses across the UK. We have an opportunity for a Customer Account Executive to join this exciting organisation. You will be given a database of up to 700 client accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining contact with these customers to ensure maximised profitability. This will involve building strong business relationships, upselling other products and ensuring that the customer receives the best possible service to ensure ongoing business.

JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the commercial relationships of a portfolio of customers. Proactively contact customers to maintain a consistent high level of service whilst identify further business opportunities. To maximise customer retention by defending fees and promoting the features and benefits of the FleetCor products, available in the UK.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Developing strong customer relationships for a set portfolio of accounts to ensure value added service is delivered with profitable outcomes.
Monitor account behavior and proactively manage customers with up & down turn trends to explore account penetration, cross selling and up selling opportunities.
Retain accounts by effectively handling objection calls and defending the business strategy to deliver the required objectives.
Capture customer data and segment, as appropriate, to ensure business analytics and overall strategy remain relevant
Achieve targets and contribute to service delivery levels, including those related to productivity and sales through negotiation, customer responsiveness and competitor awareness.
Handle account closures by solving the customers' problem and undertake activities to ensure retention targets are achieved.
Adaptable to help with project work, pilots and reviews as outlined by the commercial management team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
 Experienced account manager, with proven sales capability
 Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
 Customer focused and able to communicate effectively with customers by telephone
 Good numeracy skills
 Strong persuading and influencing skills
 Drive and ambition - ability to close tasks and take ownership for delivering team objectives
 Computer literate, especially with strong Excel skills
 Time management skills
 Commercial awareness
Salary: 18000 per annum
Benefits: OTE £25,000
