The team purpose is to provide professional project and site services and offer value added services to our customers in order to improve customer satisfaction and build loyalty in a profitable way. The primary purpose of the position is to carry out the on-site project supervision of all site staff and sub-contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of projects to and customer satisfaction. From site survey to final job completion, to include your hands-on practical construction skills to complete all jobs and tasks as the Site Supervisor or independently.

You will:

 Be responsible for sourcing resources and supporting resources that are assigned, managing the project team and for day-to-day liaison with teams and clients

 Be responsible for the management/reporting requirements and the delivery of the project to the required standard, on time and within budget

First Level Responsibility:

 To ensure that all statutory and company health and safety requirements are met

 To ensure that company procedures are complied with and that relevant information is

communicated with the project staff.

 To administer the contract in accordance with the companies' scope and role.

 To develop good relationships with the client and potential clients along with their respective


 To work with the Operations Director ensuring that the projects are adequately staffed by

suitably qualified and experienced staff and that future needs are identified

 To maximise the project margin & control costs

 Plan and co-ordinate work and labour on site to provide most cost-effective work plan

 To ensure that as far as is reasonably practicable the company is protected during contract

negotiations, on-site works and post contract discussions, and to ensure that records are

maintained throughout the project delivery.

 To foster relationships with suitable senior consultants/subcontractor personnel

 By working with heads of individual departments ensure that staff training is kept up to date and

that 'fast track' personnel are identified and progressed accordingly

 Lead by example setting the required standards of behaviour and conduct for the project

 Communicate the Company and Project strategy with the project team ensuring the objectives

are met and understood, and liaise with the departmental teams and members to ensure that

project needs are achieved.

 Liaise with the procurement lead during the tender/negotiation/construction period

 Manage the programme of works

Second Level Responsibility:

 Supervise and maintain site Health & Safety and produce company risk assessments

 Prepare and deliver toolbox talks

 Supervision and welfare of site work force

 Carry out site surveys and prepare reports and red line drawings

 Be aware of the latest building techniques available

Personal Specification

 Proven track record in a Project Management role

 Good knowledge of the construction industry

 Previous experience in a craft discipline would be an advantage

 CSCS Card

 Have a working knowledge of the NEC3 contract

 Excellent IT skills, proven working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project

 Able to build and maintain good working relationships with fellow team members and


 Team orientated, taking steps to improve team results, behaviour or relationships

 Good attention to detail and ability to manage a varied workload

 Must have energy and ability to energise those around you

 A good working knowledge of the operation of safe systems of work.

 An ability to develop client relationships at all levels.

 Full UK driving licence
Salary: 50000 per annum
