We are in search of a committed and industrious Labourer to become a part of our team. The suitable candidate will undertake a range of responsibilities that assist our operations and enhance the overall effectiveness of our projects. This position demands physical endurance, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
Responsibilities
– Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
– Perform routine maintenance and cleaning duties on-site.
– Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
– Follow established safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
– Work in conjunction with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
– Notify the supervisor of any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
– Maintain a clean and orderly work area consistently.
Requirements
– Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential.
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Job Overview
Tam Shilliday Plant Hire and Groundworks Ltd are based in Highland Perthshire. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team. If you have industry relevant experience we would love to hear from you. We are currently seeking a skilled 360° Machine Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring the efficient completion of jobs. The candidate should have current CPCS, CSCS cards or National Plant. The rate of pay will be dependant on experience.
Duties
Forestry works, constructions and general grounds works
You must have:
previous relevant experience;
a current driving licence;
a valid CSCS or CPCS card or National Plant;
the ability to work as part of a team;
a willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
Immediate start available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: GBP11.58-GBP15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

About the Role
As part of our Demolition team you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant and attachments used to demolish buildings, excavate, process and move materials. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of plant equipment.

Key Requirements/Experience:

Full clean driving licence
A valid CPCS card is essential with categories D90A and D90C. Additionally category D90E and other plant categories would be advantageous
Good Communication skills

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Plant Operator. This position requires considerable professional experience and the ability to work independently.
The ideal candidate will be competent and experienced in operating excavators, dump trucks, and loading shovels.
Main duties:
1. Operate machines as per licences and internal training
2. Clean machinery and equipment and carry out basic maintenance
3. Comply with all health and safety regulations
4. Assist in workshop and carry out repairs as required
5. Complete all worksheets and submit at prescribed times
6. Any other duties as reasonably required by Management

This position is a very hands on role im looking for someone who can operate a tractor as well as help grow and maintain trees.
Duties will also include
* Stock Control – Booking in, labelling and setting out stock within the nursery.
* Producing stock reports for potential and current clients.
* Production – Management of production of a diverse range of crops including bare root trees and shrubs.
* Maintenance – Ensuring the nursery is maintained, organized and kept in an immaculately clean condition at all times.
* Irrigation – Ensuring stock is watered appropriately and irrigation systems are maintained.
* Identification – Of pest/disease/weed issues should they arise, consulting with management and taking appropriate action to remedy.
